The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "Exploring the Mainland Market" on May 24 (Thursday). The seminar will explore how enterprises can capture the ample business opportunities in the Mainland market and leverage on the benefits under the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA) in accessing the Mainland market.
Speakers will include the Senior Manager, Marketing Division, of the Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation, Mr Band Yeung; the Director, Corporate PR & Marketing, of SGS Hong Kong Ltd, Mr Raymond Wong; the Chairman and Managing Director of Moiselle International Holdings Limited, Dr Boby Chan; and a representative of the Trade and Industry Department. The guest speakers will introduce the latest developments of CEPA, explore how enterprises can use the services of the recognised local certification bodies under CEPA for product testing and certification to comply with the Mainland's requirements, and share their practical experience and insights on credit risk management for domestic sales and venturing into the Mainland market.
The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.
