CE-elect speaks to the media after attending radio phone-in programmes
************************************************************

Following is a transcript of remarks by the Chief Executive-elect, Mr C Y Leung, after attending radio phone-in programmes this morning (March 27):

Reporter: You've explained your visit to the Liaison Office yesterday, but nonetheless some people are still afraid that there's Beijing intervention in Hong Kong's autonomy. What do you have to say to that?

Chief Executive-elect: What I've said is the entire content of the meeting yesterday with the Central People's Government Liaison Office. Firstly to discuss the arrangements for my visit to Beijing to be appointed by the Central People's Government according to the Basic Law, and secondly on the questions of full implementation of CEPA, National 12th Five-Year Plan, and the 36 policies and measures the Vice-Premier, Li Keqiang, announced while he visited Hong Kong last August. These were the contents of our discussion yesterday and nothing else.

(Please also refer to the Chinese portion of the transcript.)
