The Chief Executive has appointed Mr Nelson Leong Kwok-fai as the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Hong Kong Arts Centre.
The Chief Executive has also appointed Mr Ronald Kan Yu-him and Ms Lam Lit-kwan as Members of the Board of Governors of the Hong Kong Arts Centre.
The appointments, published in the Government Gazette today (March 16), are for a period of three years from April 1, 2012, to March 31, 2015.
The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing said, "Ms Cissy Pao has served the Board of Governors of the Hong Kong Arts Centre in her capacity as the Board Chairman over the past six years. With excellent leadership qualities, she has provided tremendous support to the Centre during this period. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Ms Pao for her dedication and generous contributions to the promotion of the arts and culture."
