Revamped webpage to provide HKDSE candidates with comprehensive information on multiple pathways
**************************************************

To enable Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) candidates to map out their further education or career pathways, the Education Bureau (EDB) has revamped its "New Academic Structure (NAS) Web Bulletin" to provide students with the latest information on multiple pathways.

The revamped webpage (www.edb.gov.hk/nas) provides a more structured interface covering comprehensive information on "2012 Multiple Pathways for New Senior Secondary (NSS) Graduates". The motto, "Of the multiple pathways to success, there's always one for you", spells out the message that all students can stretch their potential and meet their aspirations under the NAS.

Through this new webpage, students can access information pertaining to multiple pathways available to NSS graduates at one location, including information on bachelor's degree programmes, sub-degree programmes, vocational programmes, Yi Jin Diploma, non-local courses in Hong Kong/distance learning programmes and information regarding studying in Mainland China and abroad, as well as employment information.

Links are also made to other useful websites, such as the Information Portal for Accredited Post-secondary Programmes (iPASS), the Qualifications Framework and the Qualifications Register, and the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications.

To enable students to locate necessary information more conveniently, a new icon, "2012 Multiple pathways for NSS graduates", is now placed in a prominent position on the main page of the EDB homepage at www.edb.gov.hk. HKDSE candidates are encouraged to surf the website regularly to obtain the latest information on multiple pathways.
