Video notes on creativity given by veteran film practitioners now available

     Students and teachers from over 50 secondary schools gained valuable insight into techniques in film creation and production from veteran film practitioners in the "Seeing Creativity in 361 Degrees" Seminar of the "Youth Inno-Action! Seed Project". Video notes on the seminar are now available on the Government Youth Portal (Youth.gov.hk).

     Speakers at the seminar included renowned media professional Mr Lau Tin-chi; the Best New Director of the 28th Hong Kong Film Awards, Mr Derek Kwok; the Best Supporting Actor of the 12th and 28th Hong Kong Film Awards, Mr Liu Kai-chi; the Director of "The Drummer" and "GIRL$", Mr Kenneth Bi; and the Director of the Academy of Film, School of Communication, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), Professor Cheuk Pak-tong. The series of video notes is now featured in the website and iOS application of Youth.gov.hk for public viewing. Details are as follows:

     The "Youth Inno-Action! Seed Project" is jointly organised by Youth.gov.hk and the Academy of Film, School of Communication, HKBU, and sponsored by Create Hong Kong. The Seed Project aims to enhance the artistic knowledge and aesthetic appreciation of secondary school students, and to nurture their professional and creative skills in digital video production through a series of creative seminars, an interactive workshop, a digital video competition and exchange activities.
