Extraordinary dance performance in historic monument: "3D Museum in Motion" by Unlock Dancing Plaza
**********************************************************

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will present "3D Museum in Motion" by Unlock Dancing Plaza in February, an extraordinary performance involving cutting edge dance artists crossing over into Hakka folk songs in the historic surroundings of Sam Tung Uk.

Venture into this heterotopia ¡V a place containing objects and spaces from different times and styles ¡V hidden in the heart of Hong Kong's urban jungle, and find the simplicity that we have sought to preserve but in reality long lost. Here you will find a crossover of fantastic originality: lilting Hakka folk songs with dynamite dancers and buskers, plus a video presentation. Come and see how, with the input of an extraordinarily creative arts team, the historical monument of Sam Tung Uk can fire up our imaginations!

The strong production team is headed by Ong Yong Lock as artistic director with the dancers also forming part of the creative force. Performers include Hugh Cho, Lim Wei Wei, Malvina Tam and Ivy Tsui.

"3D Museum in Motion" by Unlock Dancing Plaza will be staged at 8pm, February 15 to 17 (Wednesday to Friday) and at 7pm and 8.30pm on February 18 (Saturday) at the Sam Tung Uk Museum. Tickets priced at $180 are now available at all URBTIX outlets, on the Internet and by Credit Card Telephone Booking.
