The Labour Department will relocate its Yuen Long Job Centre to merge with the "Labour Department Employment in One-stop". In order to facilitate the move, services at Yuen Long Job Centre, located at 2/F, Yuen Long Centre, 55 Sau Fu Street, Yuen Long, New Territories, will be suspended on December 24 (Saturday).
On December 24, job seekers are advised to visit nearby job centres, such as Tuen Mun Job Centre (Units 5-10, 27/F, Tuen Mun Parklane Square, 2 Tuen Hi Road, Tuen Mun, New Territories) (near Tuen Mun Town Hall) and Tsuen Wan Job Centre (2/F, Tsuen Wan Government Offices, 38 Sai Lau Kok Road, Tsuen Wan, New Territories) (exit A, MTR Tsuen Wan Station). Job-seekers can also browse the Interactive Employment Service website (www.jobs.gov.hk) or use the Vacancy Search Terminals placed at Yuen Long Public Enquiry Service Centre of the Home Affairs Department (G/F, Yuen Long District Office Building, 269 Castle Peak Road) or Yuen Long (West/East) Social Security Field Unit of the Social Welfare Department (3/F and 6/F, Yuen Long Government Offices and Tai Kiu Market, 2 Kiu Lok Square, Yuen Long) to access all valid vacancies.
The "Labour Department Employment in One-stop" will start operation from December 28, 2011 (Wednesday) following the Christmas holidays. The address of the new centre is Unit 401, 4/F, Tin Ching Amenity and Community Building, Tin Ching Estate, Tin Shui Wai, New Territories. The office will be opened Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 5.30pm and Saturdays from 9am to noon. The telephone number and facsimile number of the new centre are 3692 5750 and 3692 5761 respectively.
