Second public forum for proposed legislation to regulate the sale of first-hand residential properties

     The second public forum to solicit the views of the public on the proposed legislation to regulate the sale of first-hand residential properties will be held on January 4, 2012. Members of the public who are interested to participate in the forum are invited to register with the Transport and Housing Bureau (THB).

     As part of the public consultation exercise on the proposed legislation, the THB has arranged two public forums to collect views from the public - the first was held on December 16.  

     Details of the second public forum are as follows:

Date: January 4, 2012 (Wednesday)
Time: 7.30pm to 9.30pm
Venue: Lecture Theatre, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong

     Interested parties can reserve their seats through the hotline 2233 9313 (10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, except public holidays) or register online via the THB website. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

     The public consultation exercise on the proposed legislation to regulate the sale of first-hand residential properties will last until January 28, 2012. Members of the public are welcome to send in their views on the subject through e-mail, fax, post or the THB's e-forum. Submissions may be published in their original form as part of the consultation report.
