TELA to promote "healthy information for a healthy mind" through radio drama

     The Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority (TELA) and Metro Radio will present a new radio drama, "Prophesy", starting from Thursday (October 27) to remind youths to stay away from unhealthy information as well as to further enhance their understanding of the Control of Obscene and Indecent Articles Ordinance (COIAO).

     Assistant Commissioner for Television and Entertainment Licensing, Mr Eric Chan, and Channel Director (Music and Entertainment) of Metro Info, Mr Daniel Chu, today (October 24) attended a press conference on the radio drama.

     Starring young singers Pakho Chau, Tat Dik, Kandy Wong and Mag Lam, the 10-episode radio drama will be broadcast in Cantonese on Metro Info (FM99.1 - 102.1) at 10.48pm every Thursday.

     After each episode, the audience will get the chance to win a specially designed limited-edition souvenir by joining the quiz posted on the thematic website www.metroradio.com.hk/prophesy .

     Each year, TELA organises lots of public education programmes to promote understanding of COIAO, including the "Meritorious Websites Contest", "Healthy Internet Video Contest", "Point@Media", "Healthy Information Student Ambassadors Scheme", roving drama for schools, and over a hundred talks on the proper use of Internet for students and parents.
