***********************************************************

Organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the outdoor programme "A Kaleidoscope of Stories" will be held at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza this weekend (July 9 and 10) from 3.30pm to 6.30pm, featuring an array of interesting stories performed in different art forms. Admission is free.

On July 9, there will be the interactive dance performance "'Seeing' Is Believing", the mask theatre production "Love ĄD Life", the dance performance "Ping!Pang!Wa!", the puppet show "Wu Song Hits the Tiger" and interactive theatre.

The programme on July 10 will feature the harmonica performance "The Emperor's New Clothes", the puppet show "The Magic Flute", the musical "The Invisible Man in Wonderland", the children's theatre production "Unofficial Biography of Mr Rough", the puppet show "Hairy the Little Macaque" and interactive theatre.

Through the story of Prince Siegfried hunting for his potential wife, the interactive dance performance "'Seeing' Is Believing" leads the audiences to explore the essence beyond superficiality and how we can learn to see through images before believing in them. The mask theatre production "Love ĄD Life" is a light-hearted show on love and life. The all-time favourite story "Wu Song Hits the Tiger" will be performed with rod puppets.

"The Emperor's New Clothes" is a narrative story with Ausgelassen Harmonica Quartet's harmonica accompaniment. "Unofficial Biography of Mr Rough" will revisit Mr Rough's early years to understand his "More-or-less" credo. The puppet show "Hairy the Little Macaque" uses the adventure of Hairy to increase people's awareness of environmental protection and conservation.

"A Kaleidoscope of Stories" is the outdoor programme in support of the International Arts Carnival 2011. All of this outdoor programme will be conducted in Cantonese. For enquiries, please visit the website www.lcsd.gov.hk/eo.
