GENTLEMEN'S TONIC refreshes Hong Kong's grooming and care industry for men
**********************************************************

British men's grooming and care business, GENTLEMEN'S TONIC, today (June 27) announced the launch of its business in Hong Kong. This is the company's first outlet in Asia and is located in The Landmark building's lower ground floor in Central.

Established in London in 2004, GENTLEMEN'S TONIC offers barbershop, grooming and lifestyle treatments along with its own range of products exclusively for men. The company now has four branches in London, namely in Mayfair, Selfridges department store, Gieves & Hawkes, and Park Lane and aims to open more branches worldwide this year and next.

Founder of GENTLEMEN'S TONIC, Mr Olivier Bonnefoy, said, "We chose to set up an outlet in Hong Kong because we recognised a gap in the market and have good partners to work with in the city. Hong Kong people are hard-working but whilst there are plenty of upscale spas for women to relax and unwind in there is little in the market that is exclusively for men. Hong Kong gentlemen are long overdue a destination where they can comfortably and confidently fulfill their grooming and lifestyle needs."

Mr Bonnefoy added, "Hong Kong is an ideal market for our expansion into Asia and our services are the perfect antidote to the rigours and stresses of the outside world. Also, we plan to make use of Hong Kong's strategic location as a gateway to China, for our future expansion in Mainland China."

Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion, Mr Andrew Davis, said, "The presence of GENTLEMEN'S TONIC in our city not only enriches the portfolio of our men's grooming and care but also offers men with services that are tailor-made for them. We wish the company every success in its future business in Hong Kong."

Starting a business in Hong Kong, for companies large and small, has been further facilitated with the launch of the Government's electronic incorporation service in March 2011. The time required for company incorporation and business registration has now been significantly reduced from four to one working day.
