Theatre Horizon to perform award-winning production "The French Kiss"
*********************************************************

Theatre Horizon will perform its latest production, "The French Kiss", in July. The stage play won the Best Script Award at the 15th Hong Kong Drama Awards and stars the award-winning actors Emotion Cheung and Mercy Wong as the main performers.

The story is about Marco and his secretary. After a romantic evening, Michelle, Marco's secretary, lodges a complaint and Marco is arrested by the police and charged with sexual harassment. This incident ends Marco's career as a pastor and ultimately costs him his faith. Few years later they meet at a party...... Can they really forgive and forget?

Established in August 2006, Theatre Horizon Company Limited is one of the few local contemporary arts groups that not only explore various acting systems and different writing approaches but also analyse the frameworks behind each dramatic theory and creative piece. The company also values the interlocking relationship between the arts and everyday life. Its productions are often based on retelling classical works in modern-day contexts, or are derived from the current social status quo. The group strives to probe the unknown in the vast continent of the performing arts in the belief that art reflects one's true self, stimulates lost sensations and touches hearts.

The performances will be staged at the Shouson Theatre, Hong Kong Arts Centre. Details are as follows:

July 28 to 31 (Thursday to Sunday) at 8pm
July 30 and 31 (Saturday and Sunday) at 3pm
