HK Film Archive's "Morning Matinee" to feature love films in May (with photos)

     Hong Kong Film Archive's (HKFA) "Morning Matinee" will screen four love films in May, starring Hu Siao-fung, Chen Juanjuan, Kung Chiu-hsia, Patsy Kar Ling, Patrick Tse Yin, Nam Hung and Kong Suet.

     The films are "House Removal Greeting" (1954), which tracks the hardships of newlyweds facing a housing problem, the delightful comedy "Love Affairs of a Confirmed Bachelor" (1959), a romantic comedy with the touch of social realism, "He is a Rare and Passionate Lover" (1962), and director Chor Yuen's "True Love" (1963), a heart-wrenching drama of love and misunderstanding.

     The films will be shown at 11am on May 6, 13, 20 and 27 respectively at the Cinema of the HKFA. All films are in Cantonese or dubbed in Cantonese and without subtitles.

     Tickets priced at $20 for the films are available now at URBTIX outlets. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 and above, people with disabilities, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients.
