Youth portal launches new website for Shanghai Expo

     The government youth portal has launched a special website "Shanghai Wall Post - Journey to Expo 2010" (www.youth.gov.hk/expo2010) to promote Hong Kong's participation in Expo 2010 Shanghai China (Shanghai Expo).

     "Shanghai Wall Post - Journey to Expo 2010" is an online platform for Hong Kong youngsters to catch the latest news about Shanghai Expo and to learn more about the Hong Kong Pavilion and Hong Kong's Urban Best Practices Area Exhibition. It also includes a photo gallery featuring highlights of Shanghai Expo.

     "Shanghai Wall Post - Journey to Expo 2010" will provide youths with all the essential information on the programmes and activities to be staged by Hong Kong during the six-month Expo period such as cultural performances, exhibitions and seminars.

     Web surfers will also be able to catch a glimpse of the best attractions in Shanghai through a collection of snapshots that will allow them to experience the excitement of the Shanghai Expo without leaving home.

     What's more, the "Shanghai Wall Post - Journey to Expo 2010" experience offered by the youth portal can be easily shared with friends via Xanga, Twitter and Facebook.

     Leveraging on "Shanghai Wall Post - Journey to Expo 2010", Youth.gov.hk has rolled out a special page in the social network (www.facebook.com/shanghaiwallpost) to provide youngsters with an interactive platform to share their Expo experience by posting photos and comments.

     Users of this social network can simply click "Like" to join the page of "Shanghai Wall Post" and receive exclusive news and travel tips relating to Shanghai Expo.
