Draft Tsuen Wan Outline Zoning Plan amended
*******************************************

The Town Planning Board today (July 6) announced amendments to the draft Tsuen Wan Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).

The amendments include the rezoning of three sites at Yeung Uk Road occupied by Indi Home, H Cube and Chelsea Court from "Comprehensive Development Area (1)" to "Commercial (2)", "Commercial (3)" and "Commercial (4)" respectively, and the rezoning of a small strip of land at Castle Peak Road along Ho Fai Garden from an area shown as "Road" to "Residential (Group A)" zone.

The Notes for the "Commercial" zone have been revised to incorporate the Notes for the "Commercial (2)", "Commercial (3)" and "Commercial (4)" sub-zones, and the Notes for the "Comprehensive Development Area (1)" zone have also been revised.  These amendments are to reflect the completed developments and the planning intention for these sites and to facilitate more effective development control in the area.

The draft Tsuen Wan OZP No. S/TW/24 incorporating the amendments is now available for public inspection during normal office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon District Planning Office, the Tsuen Wan District Office and the Tsuen Wan Rural Committee.

Anyone affected by the amendments may submit a written objection to the Secretary of the Board on or before July 27.

Copies of the draft plan are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei.  The electronic version of the plan can be viewed on the Board's website at http://www.info.gov.hk/tpb.
