The Town Planning Board today (December 15) announced an amendment to the draft Sham Chung Development Permission Area (DPA) Plan.
The amendment involves revision to the Remarks in the Notes for the "Agriculture" zone to provide that the restriction on filling of land does not apply to filling of land specifically required under prior written instructions of Government department(s).
The draft Sham Chung DPA Plan No. DPA/NE-SC/2, incorporating the amendment, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Sha Tin, Tai Po & North District Planning Office, the Tai Po District Office, and the Sai Kung North Rural Committee.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendment to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before February 15, 2007. Representations made to the Town Planning Board will be made available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft plan are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the plan can be viewed at the Town Planning Board's website at http://www.info.gov.hk/tpb/.
