Following is the transcript of remarks (English portion) by the Financial Secretary, Mr Henry Tang, after the opening ceremony of Ngong Ping 360 this afternoon (November 9):

Reporter: Are you worried that recent incidents will deter tourists from coming to Ngong Ping?

Financial Secretary: Well, considering that it's only been open for less than two months and they have welcomed 280,000 visitors to ride the cable car, I don't think it's a deterrent.
