Canada-based broadcasting and production technology company, Miranda Technologies Asia Ltd, announced today (October 20) the relocation of its Asian headquarters to Hong Kong.
Miranda Technologies is a world leader in designing, manufacturing and marketing video infrastructure products and solutions for the broadcast, production/post-production and video transport markets. To facilitate rapid business development in the region, particularly in China and Southeast Asia, the company has moved its regional headquarters from Japan to Hong Kong.
Its existing Hong Kong office will be expanded and will oversee the operations of the other Asia offices and representatives covering areas such as sales, support and servicing and logistics. Apart from Hong Kong, Miranda Technologies has offices in Tokyo and Beijing and regional representatives in Singapore and Hyderabad, India.

"Miranda has committed a $20 million investment and will recruit additional staff," added Mr Lu. "Our company intends to continue to expand our operations in China by setting up more offices within the country, using Hong Kong as our base. We will also establish an office in Singapore within the next year. These regional growth plans should result in more hiring and business transactions in Hong Kong."
