Revised Master Schedule of Notes to Statutory Plans and Town Planning Board Guidelines No. 32A, 33A and 34D (August 2021)
The Town Planning Board (TPB) on 24 August 2021 promulgated the following sets of revised documents which takes immediate effect:
Master Schedule of Notes to Statutory Plans
To streamline the planning application process, revision is made to the Remarks of the Notes of conservation zones to exempt diversion of stream, filling of land/pond and excavation of land from the requirement of planning permission if they are (a) public works co-ordinated or implemented by Government, (b) maintenance and repair works, and (c) rebuilding works, where appropriate.
Revision to individual Outline Zoning Plan will be made to incorporate the revised Master Schedule of Notes, as appropriate, when opportunity arises.
Town Planning Board Guidelines
- Submission of Further Information in Relation to Applications for Amendment of Plan, Planning Permission and Review made under the Town Planning Ordinance (TPB PG-No. 32A);
- Deferment of Decision on Representations, Comments, Further Representations and Applications made under the Town Planning Ordinance (TPB PG-No. 33A); and
- Renewal of Planning Approval and Extension of Time for Compliance with Planning Conditions for Temporary Use or Development (TPB PG-No. 34D).
In order not to affect planning applications/reviews now under processing, the revised TPB PG-No. 33A will only take effect for new applications received upon promulgation. The revised TPB PG-No. 34D concerning applications for extension of time for compliance with planning conditions will only take effect for newly approved applications for temporary use or development upon promulgation.
