Hong Kong's copyright law has changed on 1 April this year. If you knowingly use pirated copyright works in your business, you could be convicted of criminal offences. For example, running your business with pirated computer software could result in a fine for management or staff of $50,000 per infringing copy and 4 years' imprisonment.
