LOCAL WEATHER FORECAST

HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
SHOWERS ARE AFFECTING THE COAST OF GUANGDONG AND THE
NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA. MEANWHILE, A RIDGE OF
HIGH PRESSURE IS COVERING SOUTHEASTERN CHINA.


 
AT 8 P.M., TYPHOON KAJIKI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 280 KILOMETRES
SOUTH OF HANOI. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE WEST-NORTHWEST AT
ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR INTO THE INLAND AREAS OF
INDO-CHINA AND WEAKEN GRADUALLY.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW


 
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS. THE MINIMUM TEMPERATURE
WILL BE ABOUT 28 DEGREES TOMORROW MORNING. HOT WITH SUNNY
PERIODS DURING THE DAY. THE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE WILL BE
AROUND 32 DEGREES IN THE URBAN AREAS, AND A COUPLE OF
DEGREES HIGHER IN THE NEW TERRITORIES. MODERATE EASTERLY
WINDS.


 
OUTLOOK : HOT WITH A FEW SHOWERS ON WEDNESDAY. THE WEATHER
WILL BECOME UNSETTLED IN THE FOLLOWING COUPLE OF DAYS. IT
WILL BE WINDY WITH MORE SHOWERS.
