THE SOUTH CHINA SEA WITH MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS OF ABOUT
55 KILOMETRES PER HOUR NEAR ITS CENTRE WAS LOCATED AT 17.2
DEGREES NORTH, 116.6 DEGREES EAST. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
WEST AT ABOUT 25 KILOMETRES PER HOUR IN THE GENERAL
DIRECTION OF THE SEAS SOUTH OF HAINAN ISLAND.
