THE MONSOON DEPRESSION NEAR HAINAN ISLAND IS BRINGING HEAVY
SHOWERS AND SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS TO THE COAST OF GUANGDONG
AND THE NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA.
AT 4 P.M., THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE WESTERN NORTH
PACIFIC WAS CENTRED ABOUT 1460 KILOMETRES EAST OF MANILA.
IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTH OR NORTH-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 12
KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE SEAS EAST OF THE PHILIPPINES.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW
CLOUDY WITH SHOWERS AND SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS. SHOWERS WILL
BE HEAVY AT TIMES. TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE BETWEEN 27 AND
31 DEGREES. MODERATE TO FRESH EAST TO SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS,
OCCASIONALLY STRONG OFFSHORE AND ON HIGH GROUND.
