Attention duty announcers of radio and TV stations:

Please broadcast the following special announcement immediately, and repeat it at frequent intervals when the Heat Stress at Work Warning is in force:

     A reminder from the Labour Department: The Amber Heat Stress at Work Warning is still in force, indicating high heat stress in certain working environments. Employers should refer to the Labour Department's "Guidance Notes on Prevention of Heat Stroke at Work" and take necessary preventive measures as far as reasonably practicable, including rescheduling work periods and providing appropriate rest breaks, to reduce the risk of heat stroke posed to employees. If symptoms of heat-related illness such as headache, dizziness, thirst and nausea appear, employees should immediately rest in a cool and shaded place, drink water and inform their employers/supervisors.
