HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
PRESSURE IS RISING OVER EASTERN CHINA. A REPLENISHMENT OF
THE NORTHEAST MONSOON IS EXPECTED TO REACH THE COAST OF
SOUTHERN CHINA TONIGHT.


 
THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE WESTERN NORTH PACIFIC HAS
INTENSIFIED INTO A TROPICAL STORM AND WAS NAMED TALAS. AT
10 A.M., TALAS WAS CENTRED ABOUT 390 KILOMETRES SOUTH OF
OSAKA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTH-NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 30
KILOMETRES PER HOUR IN THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF HONSHU OF
JAPAN.
 
BESIDES, THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE SEAS EAST OF THE
PHILIPPINES HAS INTENSIFIED INTO A TROPICAL STORM. AT 10
A.M., THE TROPICAL STORM WAS CENTRED ABOUT 1230 KILOMETRES
EAST-NORTHEAST OF MANILA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE WEST AT
ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR IN THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF
THE VICINITY OF THE NORTHERN PART OF LUZON.

MAINLY FINE AND HOT. LIGHT WINDS. MODERATE TO FRESH
EASTERLY WINDS TONIGHT AND IT WILL BECOME CLOUDY GRADUALLY
WITH ONE OR TWO SHOWERS.


 
OUTLOOK : WINDY IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. SUNNY PERIODS AND
ISOLATED SHOWERS DURING THE WEEKEND. SHOWERS WILL INCREASE
