HERE IS THE LATEST TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNING BULLETIN ISSUED
BY THE HONG KONG OBSERVATORY.
 
THE STANDBY SIGNAL, NO. 1 IS IN FORCE.
 
AT NOON, THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER HAINAN ISLAND WAS
ESTIMATED TO BE ABOUT 640 KILOMETRES SOUTHWEST OF HONG KONG
(NEAR 18.6 DEGREES NORTH 109.5 DEGREES EAST) AND IS
FORECAST TO MOVE WEST OR WEST-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 18
KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS BEIBU WAN.


 
THIS TROPICAL DEPRESSION CONTINUES TO DEPART FROM HONG
KONG. LOCALLY, THE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO WEAKEN GRADUALLY.
WHEN THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION NO LONGER POSES A THREAT TO
THE TERRITORY, THE OBSERVATORY WILL CANCEL ALL TROPICAL
CYCLONE WARNING SIGNALS.
