HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
A DRY NORTHEAST MONSOON IS BRINGING GENERALLY FINE WEATHER
TO SOUTHERN CHINA.


 
AT 8 P.M., THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE CENTRAL PART OF
THE SOUTH CHINA SEA WAS CENTRED ABOUT 490 KILOMETRES
EAST-SOUTHEAST OF DA NANG. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE WEST AT
ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS THE CENTRAL PART OF
VIETNAM.
 
MEANWHILE, SEVERE TROPICAL STORM CHAN-HOM WAS CENTRED ABOUT
350 KILOMETRES SOUTHEAST OF OSAKA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
EAST-SOUTHEAST AT ABOUT 16 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE
SEAS SOUTH OF JAPAN.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW


 
MAINLY FINE. DRY DURING THE DAY. TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE
BETWEEN 24 AND 30 DEGREES. MODERATE EAST TO NORTHEASTERLY
WINDS.


 
OUTLOOK : SUNNY PERIODS ON MONDAY WITH WINDS STRENGTHENING
AT NIGHT. HEAVY RAIN AND STRONG WINDS IN THE FOLLOWING
