HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
A SOUTHWESTERLY AIRSTREAM IS BRINGING SHOWERS TO THE
NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA. BESIDES, UNSETTLED
WEATHER ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER-AIR DISTURBANCE IS
AFFECTING INLAND GUANGDONG. THE UPPER-AIR DISTURBANCE IS
EXPECTED TO BRING THUNDERY SHOWERS TO THE SOUTH CHINA COAST
TODAY AND TOMORROW AT FIRST.


 
AT NOON, SEVERE TYPHOON BAVI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 210
KILOMETRES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF JEJU. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
NORTH AT ABOUT 30 KILOMETRES PER HOUR AND ENTER THE YELLOW
SEA.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT


 
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS AND SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS.
VERY HOT IN THE AFTERNOON. SHOWERS WILL INCREASE GRADUALLY
LATER. MODERATE SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS, OCCASIONALLY FRESH
OFFSHORE.


 
OUTLOOK : HEAVY SHOWERS AND A FEW SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS AT
FIRST TOMORROW. SHOWERS WILL EASE OFF DURING THE DAY. FINE
