GUANGDONG.



TYPHOON VONGFONG HAS WEAKENED INTO A SEVERE TROPICAL STORM.
 
AT 4 P.M., VONGFONG WITH MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS OF ABOUT
105 KILOMETRES PER HOUR NEAR ITS CENTRE WAS LOCATED AT 14.3
DEGREES NORTH, 121.8 DEGREES EAST. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
NORTH-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE
PHILIPPINES.
