THE NORTHEAST MONSOON IS AFFECTING THE SOUTH CHINA COASTAL
WATERS.



AT 4 P.M., TYPHOON TAPAH WITH MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS OF
ABOUT 120 KILOMETRES PER HOUR NEAR ITS CENTRE WAS LOCATED
AT 27.9 DEGREES NORTH, 125.6 DEGREES EAST. IT IS FORECAST
TO MOVE NORTH AT ABOUT 25 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE
EAST CHINA SEA TOWARDS THE VICINITY OF THE KOREAN PENINSULA
TO KYUSHU OF JAPAN.
