HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
GENERAL SITUATION


TROPICAL STORM BEBINCA LINGERED AROUND THE SEAS SOUTH OF
THE PEARL RIVER ESTUARY YESTERDAY, AND BROUGHT HEAVY
SQUALLY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION. LOCALLY,
THERE WERE SUNNY INTERVALS, OCCASIONAL SQUALLY SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS. MORE THAN 30 MILLIMETRES OF RAINFALL WERE
RECORDED OVER MANY PLACES. BEBINCA IS EXPECTED TO EDGE
CLOSER TO THE VICINITY OF THE COAST OF WESTERN GUANGDONG
TODAY, AND WILL CONTINUE TO BRING HEAVY SQUALLY SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR HONG KONG


 
FRESH TO STRONG EAST TO SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS. MAINLY CLOUDY
WITH OCCASIONAL SQUALLY SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS.
TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE BETWEEN 26 AND 30 DEGREES. SEAS
WILL BE ROUGH WITH SWELLS. WINDS WILL MODERATE GRADUALLY
LATER.
