HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.
 
THE NORTHEAST MONSOON IS AFFECTING THE COAST OF GUANGDONG.
LOCALLY, MORE THAN 30 MILLIMETRES OF RAINFALL WERE RECORDED
OVER THE URBAN AREAS FROM 8 A.M. TO NOON, AND RAINFALL EVEN
EXCEEDED 60 MILLIMETRES OVER PARTS OF NEW TERRITORIES EAST.
 
AT NOON, SUPER TYPHOON HAIMA WAS CENTRED ABOUT 520
KILOMETRES EAST-NORTHEAST OF MANILA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
WEST-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 28 KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS THE
NORTHERN PART OF LUZON.
 
MEANWHILE, TROPICAL STORM SARIKA WAS CENTRED ABOUT 180
KILOMETRES SOUTH OF NANNING. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
NORTH-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 12 KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS
GUANGXI AND THE NORTHERN PART OF VIETNAM.
 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT
 
CLOUDY WITH SQUALLY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. SHOWERS WILL
BE HEAVY AT FIRST. FRESH EAST TO SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS,
OCCASIONALLY STRONG OFFSHORE AT FIRST. SEAS WILL BE ROUGH
WITH SWELLS.
 
OUTLOOK : SUNNY PERIODS TOMORROW. FREQUENT HEAVY RAIN WITH
