Brand Hong Kong features on e-cards

The Brand Hong Kong visual identity - a modern interpretation of a dragon symbolising the dynamism and energy of Hong Kong - is featured on electronic cards to send greetings to relatives, friends and business contacts around the world.

A total of five e-cards are now available on the Government Information Centre website (www.gov.hk) and to help promote Hong Kong as Asia's world city, two cards feature the Brand Hong Kong identity.

The three other cards have different features, including an interactive game and flash design, together with Christmas carols as background music.

The e-card service is easy to use. Senders need only provide simple information such as names and e-mail addresses. Recipients are notified by e-mail to view their e-cards.

More than 11,000 e-cards have been sent so far since they were uploaded onto the website earlier this month. The free e-card service was first introduced in 1999.

The address for the e-cards is http://www.gov.hk/ecard. For enquiries, please contact the Internet Resource Centre of Information Services Department via email to irc@isd.gov.hk.
