     This press release summarises the decision of the Communications Authority (CA) made in September 2026 on a broadcast complaint.

     The CA considered a complaint case about the television programme "Mother Knows Best, Doctor Knows The Facts" broadcast on the TVB Plus Channel of Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) (Note) on March 9, 2026. The CA decided that TVB should be strongly advised to observe the relevant provision of the Generic Code of Practice on Television Programme Standards more closely. Details of the case are at the Appendix.
 
Note: Television Broadcasts Limited has changed its name to TVB Limited since July 24, 2026.
