The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:

     ​The spokesperson for the Hospital Authority (HA) Kowloon West Cluster (KWC) announced today (September 28) that, North Kwai Chung Family Medicine Clinic, which has temporarily relocated to 3/F, Ha Kwai Chung Polyclinic at 77 Lai Cho Road, Kwai Chung, due to internal renovation works, will extend its evening outpatient service from two nights per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays) to five nights per week (Mondays to Fridays), with effect from October 2 (see Appendix).
      
     The KWC spokesperson said, "In response to the development of Kwai Tsing District and public demand for public primary healthcare services, the HA has been committed to enhancing the service capacity of its family medicine clinics. The KWC hopes that, by further enhancing evening outpatient service, more convenient and flexible consultation options will be provided for members of the public in need, thereby further strengthening the primary healthcare services within the community."
      
     Members of the public can make appointments through the Family Medicine Clinic Telephone Appointment System at 3157 0101 or the "Book FMC" function in the HA's mobile application "HA Go".
      
     The KWC will continue to closely monitor the operations and service utilisation of its family medicine clinics, allocate resources flexibly and continually enhance its primary healthcare services.
