Tenders invited for site formation and engineering infrastructure works for Yuen Long South New Development Area Second Phase Development Contract 6 (Framework Contract)

This tender exercise covers four contract numbers (YL/2024/04/F1, YL/2024/04/F2, YL/2024/04/F3 and YL/2024/04/F4). Tenderers only need to submit one tender and are not required to submit separate applications for each contract number. The closing time for the tender is noon on December 4.
In accordance with the contract terms, the CEDD will, having regard to actual works needs, assign works to the framework contractors by issuing Job Requests in accordance with the prescribed standard terms.
The works mainly include:
- site clearance, environmental ground investigation and normal ground investigation;
- site formation, including land decontamination works;
- construction of engineering infrastructures, including underground flood storage tank, sewage pumping station, reclaimed water service reservoir, roadworks and open space;
- other associated works, including noise barriers, junction improvement works, cycle tracks, footpaths, water supply system, sewerage system, drainage system, nullah deckings, box culverts, slopeworks, retaining walls, landscaping works, electrical and mechanical works and other ancillary works; and
- implementation of environmental mitigation measures for the works mentioned above.
The first batch of works to be implemented under Job Requests is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2027. The works under the framework contracts will take about 55 months to complete.
The CEDD has commissioned AECOM Asia Company Limited to design and supervise the works. Interested contractors may download the tender forms and other particulars from the e-Tendering System (e-TS). Tenderers must submit tenders in electronic format via the e-TS.
