The 2026 final registers of electors for geographical constituencies (GCs) and functional constituencies (FCs), and of voters for Election Committee subsectors (ECSSs) were released today (September 25).

     A spokesman for the Registration and Electoral Office said, "The final register for GCs lists 4 116 965 electors. The final register for FCs contains 182 359 individual electors and 8 489 corporate electors, a total of 190 848 electors. The final register for ECSSs contains 3 448 individual voters and 5 894 corporate voters, a total of 9 342 voters."

     Electors/voters may check their registration particulars through "iAM Smart" or the Voter Registration website (vr.gov.hk).

     Statistical information about the 2026 final registers has also been uploaded to the Voter Registration website.

     Notices on the inspection of the 2026 final registers were gazetted today. According to the law, a copy of the final registers containing entries relating to individuals may only be shown in accordance with the statutory requirements, and made available for inspection by specified persons. A copy of the final registers containing only entries of bodies may be inspected by the public.
