The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Miss Rosanna Law, today (September 21) extended her congratulations to wushu athlete Lydia Sham on winning a gold medal in Women's Changquan at the 20th Asian Games. This is the first gold medal won by the Hong Kong, China Delegation in the Asian Games this year.

     Miss Law said, "Lydia excelled brilliantly in the competitions, showing absolute focus and superb skills to secure the first gold medal for the Delegation at this Asian Games, making Hong Kong citizens immensely proud. With the Delegation getting off to a flying start, I wish Hong Kong, China athletes to shine in this year's Asian Games and achieve more outstanding results."
