Convenor of ExCo Non-official Members speaks on Hong Kong's First Five-Year Plan and Policy Address
***************************************************************

Following are the remarks by the Convenor of the Non-official Members of the Executive Council (ExCo), Mrs Regina Ip, at a media session on the First Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (2026-2030) and the Chief Executive's 2026 Policy Address in the Legislative Council Complex today (September 16):

Reporter: What do you make of the two documents, and how would they allow Hong Kong to align as well as further support the nation's strategic development?

Convenor of ExCo Non-official Members: Hong Kong's First Five-Year plan is a document that outlines the strategic vision and macro directions for Hong Kong's future development. The Chief Executive's Policy Address sets out the measures that will implement this vision in detail. The two documents are closely interlinked. Together, they will help bring Hong Kong's economy and society forward.
