The Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Professor Sun Dong, will depart for Beijing this afternoon (September 1).

     During his visit, Professor Sun will call on the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, and visit a local scientific research platform.

     Professor Sun will return to Hong Kong on September 3 afternoon. During his absence, the Under Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Ms Lillian Cheong, will be the Acting Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry.
