The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:

     The spokesperson for the Kowloon West Cluster (KWC) today (August 24) announced the North Kwai Chung Family Medicine Clinic (the Clinic) located at 125 Tai Pak Tin Street, Kwai Chung, will undergo internal renovation works for environmental and service enhancements. Starting from next Monday (August 31), the Clinic's services will be temporarily relocated to 3/F, Ha Kwai Chung Polyclinic at 77 Lai Cho Road, Kwai Chung. During the period, the service hours will remain unchanged (see Appendix). The renovation works are expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2027, after which the Clinic will resume services at its original location.
      
     In regard to the temporary service relocation, patients with chronic illnesses requiring regular follow-up care at the Clinic have already been informed of the service relocation and have been arranged to attend follow-up visits at the new address. Patients with episodic illnesses can make appointments as usual through the Family Medicine Clinic Telephone Appointment System at 3157 0101 or the "Book FMC" function on the mobile application "HA Go".
      
     The spokesperson said, "The KWC has already informed the residents in the district of the service arrangements through various channels, including putting up posters and banners at the Clinic. The respective District Council and Transport Department have also been informed. A reminder message will be added to the Family Medicine Clinic Telephone Appointment System and the 'Book FMC' mobile application function in 'HA Go' so that the public and residents of the district can learn about relevant service arrangements as early as possible.
