SEE to attend APEC Food Security Ministerial Meeting in Hangzhou

Mr Tse will attend the APEC FSMM in the morning of August 25 to discuss advancing high-quality agricultural and rural development across the region. The meeting will also cover discussions on leveraging agricultural science, technological innovation and digital transformation to address pressing food security challenges, and to strengthen the foundation for shared prosperity.
The Deputy Director of Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation, Mr Patrick Lai, will join the visit.
Mr Tse will return to Hong Kong in the evening of August 25. During his absence, the Under Secretary for Environment and Ecology, Miss Diane Wong, will be the Acting Secretary for Environment and Ecology.
