Following are the remarks by the Secretary for Security, Mr Tang Ping-keung, at a media session after attending a radio programme this morning (August 17):

Reporter: Can you please briefly round up the rehearsals?

Secretary for Security: So far, we have conducted two major rehearsals on August 13 and August 15. We aimed to test, under stress, whether the public transport interchange can handle the traffic, and also whether the immigration and customs counters can handle such a volume of people. So far, the tests were satisfactory. But, of course, we have observed a few points that we can further improve, for example, the notices about directions and also how to line up the people to wait for buses at the public transport interchange. Also, there are comments about adding more benches inside the building. We have taken note of all those comments and we are going to improve them immediately.
