The Government announced today (August 14) that the Financial Secretary, in exercise of the power delegated to him by the Chief Executive under the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council Ordinance (Cap. 588), has appointed Ms Eva Lau Kin-yu as an Executive Director of the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council (AFRC) for a three-year term from August 14, 2026, to August 13, 2029. Upon this appointment, Ms Lau will continue to serve as the Head of Inspection of the AFRC.
