HKETO Berlin supports Hong Kong young music talent at International Liszt Ferenc Competition and Concert Festival Eger in Hungary (with photos)

     The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Berlin (HKETO Berlin) supported Hong Kong young music talent to participate in the International Liszt Ferenc Competition and Concert Festival Eger held in Eger, Hungary, July 31 and August 1 (Eger time). 

     Violinist Ruda Lee and five teenaged musicians performed at the Concert Festival Eger held at Eszterházy Károly Catholic University on July 31.  

     At the concert and award ceremony of the International Liszt Ferenc Competition held on August 1, the Head of Public Relations of HKETO Berlin, Ms Stephanie Pall, delivered welcome remarks. She highlighted that as an East-meets-West centre for international cultural exchanges, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government is committed to promoting Hong Kong's vibrant arts and culture scene, and strengthening exchanges and collaboration with the cultural sector of Europe.

     "Today, we gather to experience the remarkable talent of young musicians who have travelled from around the world, including Hong Kong, to share their artistry. The passion and talent of musicians bring people together and illuminate the beauty of cultural exchanges," said Ms Pall.

     The International Liszt Ferenc Competition and Concert Festival Eger aim to encourage the artistic development of musicians by offering performance opportunities at an international arena to showcase their musical talent.
