Tender awarded for site in Kwun Tong for electric vehicle charging station

The Lands Department announced today (July 27) that the tender for a site, New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6677 at Nos. 77 and 79 Hiu Kwong Street, Kowloon, has been awarded to the highest tenderer, BYD (H.K.) Co., Limited (parent company: BYD Company Limited), on a 12-year land grant at a premium of $12,000,000. The site has an area of about 1 022.1 square metres for electric vehicle charging station purposes.

The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in alphabetical order, with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets, were:

(1) AX Xeco Limited; and
(2) Cornerstone EV Charging Service Limited (Cornerstone Technologies Holdings Limited).
