Fatal traffic accident in Airport District

At about 8.10pm, a motorcycle driven by the 38-year-old man reportedly went out of control and rammed into a road sign while travelling along South Perimeter Road towards the airport.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the motorcyclist was rushed to North Lantau Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 9.29pm.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team 2 of Traffic, New Territories South is under way.
