     Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (July 22) that the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) has classified the water quality at Pui O Beach in Islands District, as Grade 3, which means that the water quality has improved and the beach is suitable for swimming. 

     The water quality of the beach was being classified by EPD as Grade 4 and unsuitable for swimming earlier.

     However, due to big waves, the red flag has been hoisted at the Pui O Beach. Beachgoers are advised not to swim at the beach.
