PSCS and six Permanent Secretaries to begin 8th Singapore-Hong Kong Permanent Secretaries Exchange Programme

     The Permanent Secretary for the Civil Service, Ms Shirley Lam, and six Permanent Secretaries of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government will begin the three-day 8th Singapore-Hong Kong Permanent Secretaries Exchange Programme tomorrow (July 6). The Permanent Secretaries who are also joining the programme are the Permanent Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, Mr Patrick Li; the Permanent Secretary for Development (Planning and Lands), Ms Doris Ho; the Permanent Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Mr Kevin Choi; the Permanent Secretary for Education, Ms May Chan; the Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Ms Angela Lee; and the Permanent Secretary for Transport and Logistics, Mr Vic Yau.

     The delegation will meet and hold roundtable discussions with Permanent Secretaries of Singapore to exchange views on policy issues of mutual interest, as well as conduct site visits to local development projects and community facilities.

     The delegation will depart for Hong Kong on July 8.

     The last Exchange Programme was held in Hong Kong in November 2023. In 2025, the two governments discussed and agreed to continue the Exchange Programme to further deepen the solid collaborative relationship in enhancing the quality of public policies.
