New chamber spurs precision testing

     The Innovation and Technology Commission's Standards and Calibration Laboratory has added a new free-field acoustic anechoic chamber following its relocation, supporting the testing and certification sector in providing more reliable acoustic testing.

     With worldwide recognition of its testing and certification standards, Hong Kong is positioning itself as a regional hub.

     In an interview with news.gov.hk, representatives from the Innovation and Technology Commission outlined the work of the laboratory, the Hong Kong Accreditation Service and the Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification, and how they lead the industry in seizing global opportunities.
